Talents receive on average 15 missions via the app every day.
If that is not your case but you’re interested in receiving work with Brigad, have a little look at our guide designed to help you.
1. Do you have the Brigad app?
Yes: Great! You can go to step 2.
💡You may need to install the latest version of the app. A message will appear to ask you to download it if it’s the case.
No: If you don’t have it yet, no worries!
What to do:
- If you have an Iphone: go to Apple Store, look for “Brigad Workers” and download the “Brigader - Receive missions” app.
- If you have an Android phone: go to Google Play look for “Brigad Workers” and download the “Brigad - Receive missions” app.
2. Activate your notifications
To receive and accept missions, you need to activate Brigad notifications on your phone.
Method 1:
From the Brigad app
👉 Click on ‘Receive propositions’ in your home tab
Method 2:
From the Settings in your phone:
- Go to the Settings in your phone
- Click on Notifications
- Click on Brigad Workers
- Switch ‘Allow Notifications’
3. Make sure your unavailability calendar is up-to-date
If you do not receive any propositions despite having downloaded the application and activated your notifications, then the problem may be due to your unavailabilities.
Check your unavailability calendar by clicking on it from your home screen. If "I am not available" is selected or all days of the week are checked in red, then this explains why you are not receiving any propositions.
In this case, update it by indicating only the times when you are never available from one week to another.
Otherwise, go to step 4.
4. Add your Identification document
Important update! You need to add your ID to be able to receive missions.
- Go to your Brigad app, in the home screen
- Click on your profile picture (top left corner)
- Click on ‘Configure my account’ (under your name)
- Click on ‘My documents’
- Click on ‘ID Document’
- Add your ID
5. Your skills
Have you checked the list of skills in your profile? This might explain why you receive few or no missions.
- Go to your Brigad app, in the home screen
- Click on your profile picture (the top left corner)
- Click on 'Skills'
- Check that all the skills you have are listed here
If you feel like more should be added, you should contact our team via the 'Assistance' tab
If all the skills are listed correctly, go to step 6.
6. Add your UTR number
If you earned £+1000/ year as a sole trader, you need to register as such on the government website. It’s a legal requirement.
You should receive your Unique Tax Reference number a few weeks after registering. Upload it into the app once you get it.
- Go to your Brigad app, in the home screen
- From your the home screen, click on your profile picture (top left corner)
- Click on 'Configure my account" (under your name)
- Click on ‘Entrepreneurial Status’
- Add your UTR number
